Welcome to the Waterloo Masjid Bulletin!
Insha'Allah the Masjid Bulletin will be used to communicate the Masjid's events, services, and announcements to the community. Hundreds of community members like yourself have signed up to the Masjid's mailing list and people are still registering their emails to our list everyday.
The Masjid administration respects your personal e-mail space so please rest assured that we shall not bombard your inboxes with repeated emails. If at any time you wish to be removed from this mailing list, please read the instructions at the very bottom of this bulletin.

Volunteer for the Masjid!
We received a lot of requests asking us how one can volunteer for the Masjid. Taking your suggestions into consideration we are releasing the Masjid's very own Volunteer Form! You can access this page by visiting waterloomasjid.com/volunteer.
This Ramadan the Masjid committees will be planning out some of these projects so we hope to see our community and youth play a more active role in these planning meetings insha'Allah.

Summer Camp 2009 Reflections
Alhamdulillah what a great summer with the kids! Waterloo Masjid's 4-week summer camp came to a close last week with tons of pizzas, donuts, and prizes for the Summer Camp children. The final day was made into a half-day of classes so the parents could attend the Meet-and-Greet session with the Summer Camp teachers. Kids made long lines for the pizza while the Muslim soccer coach gave some final tips to the young players. It was a dynamic close to 4-weeks of a fun and educational Summer Camp. |
A Minaret in the Making
As most of you have already seen, a new Minaret is under construction at the Masjid. The Masjid Board noticed signs of wear-and-tear on the old minaret and decided to take it down for the safety of the community. The new Minaret is being built with sturdier materials with hopes that it will last for years to come insha'Allah. |  |
