Subject: Introducing the New Masjid Website! To: The Local Muslim Community Dear Community Members, As-salamualaikum and Peace be upon you! On behalf of the Waterloo Masjid Board, Executives, staff and volunteers, it gives me great honor and pleasure to introduce Waterloo Masjid's brand new website to the community. You can visit the new website at the regular link: www.waterloomasjid.com When we first requested the community to sign up to the Masjid mailing list a lot of you requested that the Masjid needs to enhance its website structure to improve communications between the community and the administration. We took those suggestions into serious consideration and after a number of meetings and planning phases, we were well on our way in improving our online system. Our Masjid website is one of the most advanced websites when compared to other masajid and Islamic centers. It hosts a vast array of powerful features and tools which the Masjid will use to establish a greater connection with the community and youth insha'Allah. Our local Muslim youth have been actively working on this project for weeks and by the blessing of Allah (swt) we now see the fruits of their efforts. The Masjid Board and Executives would like to thank br. Abdullah and br. Tahir for their advice in the website construction, br. Tareq for his work on the new Masjid logo, and br. Sharjeel for his late nights that he spent trying to get the website backend system running. May Allah (swt) reward all these youth. However, this is not the end. There are other exciting initiatives currently being planned and insha'Allah they will be announced through the Masjid website and mailing list as they're finalized. The Masjid is looking for talented and skilled individuals like yourself to volunteer their time and efforts for the Masjid and community.
